Has to Be Spirits

I finished my Thursday Live.
My eyes caught sight
of a plush cat
doing a headstand.
Intrigued, I grabbed my phone,
took several shots
before it lost that position.

A small plush cat balanced upside down on its nose on top of a black box, tail and legs in the air

Has to be spirits.
They are known to play tricks on us.

My crystal ball
kept falling from my hand,
as though removed from it.
I have not dropped things in years.
Yet I kept dropping that crystal ball.
And it kept healing itself.
Yes, a crystal ball
shattered in four places inside,
then repaired itself like new.

But the cat.
I was preparing food for the dogs,
asking myself how that could happen,
when I heard:
magnet.

I tested it.
It was magnet,
at the tip of its nose.

I had shared it on YouTube.
I left it alone,
adding the new info to it,
and had a good laugh
at my own expense.
