Pleasure in Little Things

A few years ago,
I picked up a little liquor bottle
at the park,
the type containing 50 ml.
I was elated.
It was a glass bottle.

I bent to clean something.
It fell from my bag
and broke.
I was very sad.
I had yet to enjoy it,
and I lost it.

Through the years,
I often manifested it.
I picked up one a few months later.
It was green, not clear glass.
I wanted a clear glass.

Two days ago,
it came to my mind.
With my heart,
I manifested it.

Today I saw a little bag
placed near the trash bin.
It was the type I liked.
I picked it up
and was going to dump the contents
into the trash bin
when I heard,
“You better check it
before dumping it out.”

I looked inside.
Not one,
but seven
mini glass bottles.

I gave thanks to the Universe,
and with my heart
prayed for my sister
and my dogs.
